Spurs Erik Lamela: “We Are More Than Capable Of Winning Against Inter”

Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela is all too aware of how difficult facing Inter at San Siro is but believes that he and his teammates are more than capable of getting a result on Tuesday night when both sides open their 2018/19 Champions League campaigns he revealed in an interview with Spurs official club website.

“It is difficult to play there but we have an amazing group and we are more than capable of winning. We have to attack very well but defend very well too because they have very good players.”

Lamela, who has been with the north London club for five years now, revealed he is hopeful that Saturday’s defeat to Liverpool was just a blip and that they can bounce back on Tuesday.

“Sometimes we have bad days like against Liverpool but I hope it is only a bad day and on Tuesday we play amazing. For sure, we will be fresh and ready to go and on Tuesday, to try to win at the San Siro.”
