After the delirium that ensued after the win against Tottenham in their return to the Champions League, Inter now need to focus on the Serie A and more specifically the match this Saturday away against Sampdoria at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa’s Marassi district with kick-off scheduled for 20.30 CET.
Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter coach Luciano Spalletti is currently verifying what the physical status of Argentinian attacker Lautaro Martinez who has been out of action after suffering an injury before the international break. Depending on the news the Inter medical team deliver to Spalletti, he could be available for selection.
Inter’s main injury woes are currently on the wings of defence as Croatian international Sime Vrsaljko looks to miss the Sampdoria clash as well, whilst there is a somewhat higher chance that Danilo D’Ambrosio could play against the Blucerchiati.
In midfield, the Gazzetta conclude that the hero from the Tottenham clash, Matias Vecino is the favorite to start ahead of Roberto Gagliardini in the spot next to Marcelo Brozovic.
