The link between Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan is not quite there yet and Gazzetta dello Sport have taken a look at why this could possibly be the case.
“Mauro and Radja are the link that is missing at Inter. Mauro has not trained continuously in the last period while Radja had been early on in pre-season. Thus, their is a difference there in their understanding of one another.”
The duo have of course only played two games together – the last two games with Sampdoria and Spurs – but even still, the numbers are not all that flattering with just five passes played between them in that time.
Once that connection is there, Inter are sure to reap the benefits of it and see good numbers from both players; Icardi in terms of goals scored while Nainggolan can provide double figures in both goals and assists if all things go well.
