It is no secret that Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is a big fan of Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa, his words in yesterday’s press conference ahead of the match with La Viola proved that ahead of tonight’s clash between the two clubs.
Turin based newspaper Tuttosport have recalled Spalletti’s comments on the Italian youngster from last year, further indicating just how big a fan Spalletti is. Last year Spalletti was full of praise for the 20-year-old and labelled him as “one of the strongest of his generation.”
Chiesa attracted interest from Inter during the summer transfer window and is pretty sure to do so again in the future alongside interest from several other top European clubs with Juventus and Chelsea among others reported as interested.
Chiesa is currently under contract with the Florence based club through to the end of the 2021/22 season and will certainly not come cheap to any interested suitors.
