Former Inter player Marko Arnautovic has spoken of his coming of age experience in England and working to remove the tag of being similar to previously renowned jokester and former Inter teammate Mario Balotelli, that he was attached with upon arriving.

“I have grown up a lot in England. I have changed a lot because I am a father. I have two daughters now. When I arrived, everybody was saying: ‘The new Balotelli’s here’. I said to myself, ‘You can’t go like that, when afterwards your daughter will read everything about you and think that her dad was a crazy man’. My family helped me a lot,” the Austrian explained in an interview with the Telgraph.

“Sometimes there are emotions in my head and I can’t control them but I have this a lot less. “I learned to keep my mouth shut, to keep my hands down and just try to put the ball in the net. That is the best answer.”
