According to Milano based newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport, Brazilian centre-back Joao Miranda has returned to training with the rest of his teammates and is now fully recovered from the injury that saw him sidelined for Inter’s first home win of the new season against Fiorentina last Tuesday evening. Inter fans would be happy to note that Lautaro Martinez’s condition has also improved significantly, which may see the young Argentine forward get some much-needed game time against Cagliari tomorrow night.
On the other hand, World Cup finalist Sime Vrsaljko is not yet fit for a call-up by manager Luciano Spalletti. The Croatian right-back has been training alone but may be ready to face PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on October 3rd. If not, Vrsaljko is likely to make his return for Inter’s away match against Spal on October 7th.
Here is Inter’s probable formation for tomorrow’s home match vs Cagliari (20:30 CET):
Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Skriniar, Dalbert; Gagliardini, Brozovic; Politano, Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi.
