Inter coach Luciano Spalletti stopped by Inter TV to answer questions sent in by fans via the club’s Facebook page as is now the tradition before the official pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza when the Nerazzurri host Cagliari, with kick-off scheduled for 20.30 CET.

Spalletti was asked if playing Cagliari and PSV are good matches for Inter to regain their form to which he replied: “Yes if we continue to win and give some sense to our profession, which continued through more wins. If we succeed, it would be the best way to prepare for the trip to Eindhoven. The team is fine and the players are motivated and paying attention to be ready.”

The former Roma coach was then asked if it is likely that Brozovic and Nainggolan could be joined by Lautaro Martinez to which he replied: “It is a possibility, we are careful to accept any advice from our fans. Lautaro is available, obviously a long period has passed where he has not been training and we must then see what problems it can have in terms of how many minutes he can play. Vrsaljko still is not training with the group and is working on his own.”

In conclusion Spalletti analyzed the situation as a whole saying that: “In the last three games we have shown very little of what more we have to give and in that little we have been able to see that this can be the outlet for us to be able to express our qualities. We do not all have to be the same, everyone has to bring their own work to get to be at Inter, the individual quality that has paved the way for us to be at a certain level. Everyone has to put his own work into it and this must remain intact. Here we tend to become all similar and lower the opportunities we have.”
