Even Tuttosport are asking the question of whether or not Lautaro Martinez will replace Icardi tonight. According to the Turin based newspaper, Lautaro will be starting the game and allowing Icardi to rest ahead of Inter’s game with PSV.
“In view of the Champions League, it is possible for Spalletti to leave some players out to rest and recover, especially those where he has fewer alternatively for in Europe. Spalletti is likely to start Dalbert and Gagliardini ahead of Asamoah and Vecino while also playing Joao Miranda ahead of Skriniar. The only player that is unavailable to Spalletti will be Sime Vrsaljko, who is still struggling with his left knee. Spalletti confirmed yesterday that the Croatian might not get to play before the break as he still needs more time to recover.”
