Going to Dutch city Eindhoven from Italy is not easy, and the city itself is not as attractive as London or Barcelona, yet the 1650 tickets assigned to Inter as the away team sold out in no time.

Also away tickets are very attractive in the Champions League since the last away game in that competition was back in 2012 against French side Marseille.

Milano based Gazzetta dello Sport reports in today’s paper that: “The away tickets went to Curva Nord and Inter clubs, from all over Italy and all over Europe. The hardcore fans left Milano as late as last night, looking forward to a bus ride of 12 hours. Some of the fans will travel to Amsterdam by plane while a few came to Holland this weekend thereby getting the chance to experience the Autumn of Holland. Yesterday there was no problem meeting Inter fans looking for tickets, but the stadium is sold out.”

“Following the team are some VIP fans: Nicola Berti and the guy most probable to succeed Erick Thohir as the next Inter president, Steven Zhang who makes his first away trip to a Champions League game followed the team to the stadium yesterday and although, after his tears in Rome when Inter beat Lazio last season, PSV is not his dream team to face in his first Champions League away game he will be excited about tonight’s game.”
