Former Inter chief executive Ernesto Paolilo has given his thoughts on the reports that former Inter president and owner Massimo Moratti could be set to become the new president of the FIGC.

“His presence in the FIGC could annoy many people but I hope there may be someone like him involved,” Paolilo said in an interview with RMC Sport.

“Juventus’ director Andrea Agnelli would meanwhile be a very good idea. He could do very well and has very clear ideas.”

Paolilo then moved on to another rumour which has seen Giuseppe Marotta been linked with a shock switch to the Inter board following his exit from rivals Juventus.

“I do not know if it is possible but I hope it is because I respect him very much. He is a serious person and more than capable of doing a great job at Inter.

He concluded the interview by speaking on Inter’s current board setup.

“I see a very well-structured club capable of launching themselves across multiple markets in the future.”
