Despite having many offers, Giuseppe Marotta is destined for a move to Inter, at least according to a report from Tuttosport.

“In these days of transition for Beppe Marotta, he has receieved a lot of affection from others as well as job offers. Someone of his caliber – who has always collected great results wherever he went – has requests not only from Italy but from abroad are coming too, particularly from Arsenal who have offered him €3.5 million per year. However despite this he is destined for Inter. Steven Zhang made first contact and is convinced that Marotta’s is the missing piece to the puzzle that would help Inter return to the top.”

The report goes on to state that Inter would need to reconsider the make-up of their board of directors if they were to bring Marotta in. Several directors are all on the same level and some would require demotion for Marotta to work.

Moreover, the report states that Marotta will not be coming in to fill the role left void by Walter Sabatini and will instead have a different remit.
