Italian football pundit Paolo Condo spoke on Inter in wake of them securing their fifth win on the bounce in Wednesday night’s match with PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.
“Inter is a team that goes on to the field knowing what they are capable of. The team knows how to suffer in the right moments and above all can attack teams properly when they find the chance. The upcoming match against Barcelona will be a great match,” he said to Sky Sport.
“What struck me was the fact that the circumstances on Wednesday were similar to those of the match against Parma. Inter went behind but this time against PSV there was a reaction. When Dimarco scored for Parma they did not show any initiative to get back in to the game despite having time to do so. In the Netherlands, the Nerazzurri got angry and they laid siege to the goal of the PSV until they got level and then went ahead, in these aspects it is easy to notice their leap in quality.”
