Former Inter Midfielder Zaniolo: “When Roma Called I Immediately Said Yes”

In an interview with broadcaster DAZN, Nicolo Zaniolo has revealed that he did not think twice when Roma came in for him during the summer.

“As soon as the call arrived from Roma I immediately said yes to them. Upon arriving I remember tip-toeing up to my new teammates but they have all been very good with me.

“For me it is an honour to wear the Roma shirt and I am training everyday to show the manager that I am ready to play. I am thankful to have had opportunities so far but I must not stop.”

Zaniolo arrived at the Giallorossi from Inter as part of the deal that saw Radja Nainggolan make the much anticipated switch to the San Siro.

The 19-year-old spent just one year with Inter and starred under Stefano Vecchi at Primavera Level and is rated as one of the top Italian prospects currently.
