PSV goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet shares his thoughts and feelings on his side’s defeat to Inter on Wednesday night and analysed what he could have done better for Inter’s second goal in an interview with Dutch news outlet Veronica.
“This is the nature of the Champions League, where certain errors are punished. When it comes to Mauro Icardi’s goal, I very simply should have stood still in my goals and he would never have scored rather than come because Daniel Schwaab was dealing with him well. I am very proud of the team though because we had a good game but unfortunately it did not end well.”
