Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport report on Vrsaljko’s possible return to the starting line up this weekend and the chance for him to show his worth ahead of Inter’s important games against Milan and Barcelona.

According to the report “the time for Vrsaljko’s return to the starting line up may have finally come. The Croatian has been missing since the start of September where he was injured while playing with his national team. Spalletti could start Vrsaljko tomorrow in order to give D’Ambrosio a chance to rest as he has not been able to rest much this season.”

“This will also be a good chance for Spalletti to assess the Croatian fullback ahead of important games against Milan and Barcelona. Spalletti is also thinking about rotations involving Icardi-Nainggolan and Keita-Candreva” the newspaper concludes before predicting the line-up:

Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; Vrsaljko, De Vrij, Skriniar, Asamoah; Vecino, Brozovic; Keita Baldé, Nainggolan, Candreva; Icardi.
