Only goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has played in every game so far but it is clear how the backbone of the team is formed. It starts with Milan Skriniar at the back, passes through Marcelo Brozovic in the middle and then arrives at Radja Nainggolan further up the field.
The Ninja is the difference maker of Spalletti’s Inter. He gives balance to the 4-2-3-1 system Spalletti uses and can go all out knowing that he can catch his breath during international breaks unlike some of his colleagues. This is good for Inter and Spalletti, who used the last international break to get Nainggolan up to speed after injury disrupted his early days at Inter.
