Inter’s never say die attitude has been evident this season with several late comebacks secured and late goals scored this season.
Nine of the points Inter have collected across all competitions (6 in the league, 3 in Champions League) have come within the last 15 minutes of a game. While all clubs will ultimately pick up points late on over the course of the season, Inter’s feat is made more impressive given it is still relatively early on in the season.
Of the Nerazzurri’s 16 goals scored this season, half of them have arrived in the last 15 minutes and they are well on course to match if not better last seasons total. Inter scored 66 goals during the last campaign and 16 of them came within the final 15 minutes of the game with perhaps the most memorable one of them being Matias Vecino’s winner away to Lazio on the final day that secured Champions League qualification.
