Former Sampdoria manager Domenico Di Carlo believes that after a slow start, the likes of Inter, Milan and Lazio are all getting back on the right track and can be among the pack of teams who will be fighting to qualify for the Champions League for next season.

“There are still some teams behind but in a couple of weeks everything will settle according to the quality of the teams. Inter, Milan and Lazio did not play well at the start,” Di Carlo, who was last in charge of Serie B side Novara, said in an interview with Radio Sei.

“The Biancocelesti did not even have an easy schedule, but all three are now getting back on track. There will be six clubs fighting for a place to play in the Champions League. Lazio can be there, they have quality and if they start to score goals the victories will come.”
