Today, Inter announced the date when the club has invited all their shareholders to a shareholder’s meeting. The meeting will take place at 14.00 CET on October 26th at the Hotel Magna Pars in Milano and here is the agenda:
- Approval of the budget, made on June 30th this year.
- Appointment of members to the FC Internazionale Board.
- Appointment of FC Internazionale board of statutory auditors.
- Any other business.
But this day will probably be particular for another reason. On that meeting Erick Thohir will most likely step down from the President position of the club, letting Steven Zhang, son to Inter’s patron, take his place as the new President of the club.
The Chinese majority shareholders Suning are expected to buy the Indonesian tycoon out of his shares he has in the club to assume almost complete control of the club. With the money earned, reports suggest that Thohir will invest in to Oxford United.
