According to a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, Inter are interested in signing Frenkie de Jong.

The Dutch international youngster is being tipped for a great future and is regarded as one of the top midfield prospects in the world currently. Inter’s arch-rivals Juventus are understood to be interested in him while Barcelona also tried for him in the summer albeit to no avail. The 21-year-old also has interest from the likes of Manchester City in his services as per other reports doing the rounds in the media currently.

de Jong is not the only young midfielder that Inter are keeping tabs on either. The report also states that Inter have their eyes on Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella. The 21-year-old has long been of interest to the Nerazzurri bosses and will certainly not come cheap with some reports suggesting it could take around €50 million to take him away from the Sardinian outfit.
