Inter’s Players Return From International Duty & Resume Training

Gazzetta dello Sport report on the international break and the condition of some of the players as the team prepares for the upcoming derby against Milan.

“The international break always leaves some chills in the hearts of clubs and fans as players have a lot to risk (between injuries or general fitness) while they play for their national teams. For Inter, the only good news has been Lautaro’s goal for Argentina and the returns of some of the players. Luciano Spalletti, in preparation for the derby against Milan on Sunday, is hoping to recover Brozovic, who suffered a minor muscle injury before the game against Spal, where he was not played. D’Ambrosio and Vrsaljko are also improving steadily.”

Most of the players have returned from their international duty with their national teams and have already begun training with the club as the next two games could be decisive: Inter will face Milan in Serie A and then will face their next Champions League opponent, Barcelona.
