Parma striker Fabio Ceravolo has revealed that his idol when growing up was former Inter striker Ronaldo in an interview with Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, gianlucadimarzio.com.

“It seems trivial to say but I still have posters of him. I remember every game he played for Inter. He was an impressive player and after a few years you realised how strong he was. Looking at today’s strikers, I admire those who play or are close to playing stylistically similar to myself like Ciro Immobile who is very good at attacking and being ready.”

The 31-year-old who has had a nomadic career within Italy, typically playing in the lower leagues, wound up at Parma on loan two summers ago before the move was made permanent in the past summer. This season he has made eight appearances for the Ducali across all competitions and has got himself on the score sheet once.
