Marcelo Brozovic, Sime Vrsaljko and Danilo D’Ambrosio will all be back for Inter for this weekend’s Milan derby the Vrsaljko and D’Ambrosio will be battling it out to start at right back according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Milan based newspaper however suggest Inter manager Luciano Spalletti could make some surprise selections in order to allow the first choices to rest in view of the Champions League clash with Barcelona on Wednesday night. In this case, Dalbert, Borja Valero, Antonio Candreva and Lautaro Martinez may all get a chance to impress.
Brozovic will be starting in the midfield and should be partnered in it by Roberto Gagliardini. Normal partner Matias Vecino picked up an injury on international duty with Uruguay and would appear to be in serious doubt for the match on Sunday. His condition will today be evaluated to see if there is any chance he can make the game even if only from the bench.
