Roma president and owner James Pallotta has shared his disappointment at comments made by Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan, who claimed Pallotta was rarely present unlike the management team at Inter who are always there.

“I am disappointed to hear certain things from him. He says I am never at Trigoria, but I work on Roma every day. For example, several directors of the club came to Boston this week,” the American said in an interview with Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Despite the comments, that also included Nainggolan claiming that the Giallorossi pushed him out and done everything behind his back, Pallotta insisted there was no love lost with the 30-year-old Belgian midfielder who departed the capital club for the Nerazzurri during the most recent summer transfer window.

“I loved Radja and I really care about him. He is one of the most intelligent sportspeople I have ever met.”
