A lot of the talk ahead of tomorrow night’s Derby della Madonnina between Inter and AC Milan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, have been about the comparisons between Nerazzurri captain Mauro Icardi and his Rossoneri compatriot Gonzalo Higuain.

Football statistics site Opta sent out some interesting stats about the Argentinian duo via their official Twitter account when comparing them. In fact according to Opta: “Mauro Icardi and Gonzalo Higuaín have exactly the same shot conversion rate (20%), shooting accuracy (50%) and touches in the opposition box (27) in Serie A this season.”
