In today’s paper edition of the newspaper, Rome based Corriere dello Sport breaks everything down ahead of tonight’s game in the Champions League against La Liga outfit Barcelona.
According to the report, the Corriere provides information from the last practice session at Inter’s training ground Appiano Gentile stating that: “Yesterday morning during the last practice at Appiano, Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic trained individually before joining the group. The former Wolfsburg player could get a well-deserved break tonight, leaving his place to Keita Baldé, who will be highly motivated tonight due to his previous relationship with the Catalan club during his youth years. The former Lazio player would play behind Mauro Icardi alongside Borja Valero and Antonio Candreva, a set-up tried more than with Matteo Politano.”
The Corriere continues: “In defense it seems that Danilo D’Ambrosio will get the nod ahead of Sime Vrasljko, where Kwadwo Asamoah will take the position on the left. Milan Skriniar will be on the bench due to Joao Miranda and Stefan De Vrij forming the central defensive lock. In midfield the duo Matias Vecino and Marcelo Brozovic will form the central midfield.”
Here is Inter’s probable starting lineup according to Corriere dello Sport:
Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Miranda, Asamoah; Vecino, Brozovic; Candreva, Borja Valero, Keita Baldé; Icardi.
