Inter’s contract with Brazilian international central defender Joao Miranda is set to expire at the end of June 2019 and according to a report by Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, the former Atletico Madrid man wants to leave the Nerazzurri and is preparing to do so on a free transfer.
From the month of January 2019 it will therefore be possible for the Brazilian defender to sign a pre-contract with any other team, and there is interest above all from Sevilla in Spain. Having been a regular starter since his arrival from Atletico Madrid, Miranda has found himself on the fringes of the Inter squad this season after the arrival of Stefan De Vrij, as he has started what looks like a formidable partnership with Milan Skriniar at the heart of Inter’s defence and Miranda has been restricted to the a largely substitute role.
On the odd occasion Miranda has started this season he has not looked like as composed as previous seasons and gave away a penalty against SPAL.
