Ousmane Dembele’s absence from the Barcelona starting eleven in last night’s Champions League win over Inter was due to him being late according to a report from Spain.
Deportes Quatro report that the Frenchman turned up 30 minutes later than manager Ernesto Valverde wanted the players in the dressing room for and was subsequently dropped from the starting line-up as a result.
The former Borussia Dortmund man was resigned to sitting on the bench the entire game as goals from Rafinha and Jordi Alba secured the Blaugrana a 2-0 win.
