Lazio centre back Francesco Acerbi has tipped Inter to fight for the scudetto while insisting that if he and teammates perform like they know they can, they can get the better of the Nerazzurri when they meet on Monday night.
“We are expecting a good match against Inter and we have to continue on this run of form. We know that Inter are a strong team and are a candidate to win the title but for now they only have a point more than us in the league table., If we put in grit and determination like we have in recent games we will only be able to do well,” he said in an interview with Lazio Style Channel in view of the match at the Stadio Olimpico.
Acerbi has played in every minute of the Aquile’s 12 games across all competitions this season since his arrival in the summer from Sassuolo and has scored once and assisted once.
