Inter manager Luciano Spalletti could opt to deploy Lautaro Martinez ahead of Mauro Icardi for the upcoming game with Genoa with the Champions League clash with Barcelona next Tuesday in mind according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Lautaro will once again be tasked with leading the line from the first whistle and he and Spalletti will no doubt hope that there will be similar success to last time out wherein he scored his first Inter goal.

Spalletti may seek to make other changes for rotation and rest purposes for Saturday’s game with the Rossoblu the report also details.

Kwadwo Asamoah and Ivan Perisic could be rested which could allow the likes of Dalbert, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Keita Balde to name but a few to come in and try stake a claim for a more regular starting place in the team.
