Adani: “Joao Mario Proved Himself Against Lazio”

Former Inter defender turned football pundit Daniele Adani has spoke on the recovery of Joao Mario in an interview with Radio Deejay off the back of a second successive good showing on the pitch.

“If we want to call the Portuguese a reserve player it is true that he was but on Monday against Lazio he proved to be among the most positive performers at the Olimpico in the best performance Inter have had this season,” he said.

Adani also praised Roberto Gagliardini, who put in a fine performance in Saturday’s 5-0 win over Genoa in which he scored a brace in.

“Then there is Gagliardni who, even if he plays less than others, is someone that is in the Italian national team and is part of one of the team’s with the most competition for places in Italy. Now it is time to get all the rest of the players involved.”
