Corriere dello Sport have looked ahead to tomorrow’s Champions League clash between Inter and Barcelona and the midfield battle between Inter’s Marcelo Brozovic and Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic.

Coming up against compatriot Rakitic will be the latest test for Inter’s midfield maestro Brozovic. Brozovic turned his season around at the mid-point of last season and his career for that matter and has been on an upwards trajectory ever since, putting in masterful performance after masterful performance.

He received huge applause upon being substituted in Saturday’s 5-0 win over Genoa and has recently began to be noticed internationally due to his unorthodox block of Luis Suarez free-kick in the previous game with Barcelona, a move he has named the ‘crocodile,’ a move he would pull out again against Lazio.

This season the 25-year-old has made 12 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri, scoring two goals in the process.

Inter vs Barcelona is scheduled for a 21:00 CET kick-off at San Siro.
