Prior to tomorrow night’s Champions League match at home to Barcelona, Gazzetta dello Sport have taken a look at how Luciano Spalletti may deploy his side for the match at San Siro.

Having rested several key players for the 5-0 win over Genoa, all of them will return to action for the game with the Blaugrana. Dalbert and Danilo D’Ambrosio will drop out of the defensive line and Sime Vrsaljko and Kwadwo Asamoah will come in in their place.

Inter will also revert back to a 4-2-3-1 having played a 4-3-3 at the weekend and the two holding midfield roles will be covered by Marcelo Brozovic and Matias Vecino. Matteo Politano and Ivan Perisic will retain their places on the wings and will have Radja Nainggolan in between them. The Belgian has recovered from injury and will be Spalletti’s answer to counter Barcelona. Moreover, Mauro Icardi will return to the first team with Lautaro Martinez to drop back to the bench.
