Barcelona winger Malcom has shared his delight at scoring his first Barcelona goal – a goal that came against Inter in the Champions League – but conceded he is unsure if this will affect his playing time or not.

“I do not know if the goal will result in me getting more minutes as it is up to the coach to decide if I should get more space. I did not cry, but I was very excited to have scored, scoring at San Siro is unforgettable,” he told Catalunya Radio.

The Brazilian then spoke on how he has been received by teammates since his summer transfer from Bordeaux.

“Everyone is helping me a lot here at Barcelona, they tell me to stay patient and give me comfort and I am very calm with my teammates. They welcomed me very well and they help me a lot, giving me support, telling me that this is just the beginning and that I have to work because this is Barcelona and I have a lot of quality. The group is united and this is fundamental.”
