Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has defended his actions at the full-time whistle of his side’s 2-1 win over Juventus in Turin last night.

“I was insulted for 90 minutes. I do my work and nothing more. At the end I didn’t insult anyone, I just did the gesture that I wanted to hear them more. I wouldn’t do it again. But I came here as a professional that does his work and people insulted my family and my Inter family and this is why I reacted this way. I don’t want to think about it,” the self-proclaimed ‘special-one’ told the media.

He also heaped praise upon his side for the victory that saw Juventus record their first loss of the season/

“We want to play well, we want to go to every stadium and do that, no matter which team we are against. I want the feeling, it doesn’t matter where we go, we go to compete and this is the feeling the Manchester United supporters around the world want.”
