Standard Liege president Bruno Venanzi has spoken on Inter owned loan player Zinho Vanheusden and his lack of playing time.

“If we look at our defence, there are two good alternatives like Milos Kosanovic and Zinho Vanheusden behind the defensive pair of Luyindama and Laifis.

“If Vanheusden is losing patience because he does not play, you should ask him. I know he has a contract until the end of the season. Zinho is a model professional and wants to play all the games, it is normal for a player to want that,” Venanzi said in an interview with Belgian news outlet Het Nieuwsblad.

Vanheusden has been limited to just six appearances across all competitions this campaign for Les Rouches, starting just twice while having to settle for odd minutes here and there for his other four appearances. The 19-year-old Belgian youth international joined the club on an 18-month loan back in January of this year.
