Despite signing a new contract through to the end of the 2021/22 season days ago, interest remains strong for Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It is no secret that the eyes of several top European clubs have been on him for a long time. In Italy, Juventus and Inter are both seriously interested. Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United from the Premier League are too: Jose Mourinho has seen Andersen’s potential to become a world-class defender.
“Another aspect to consider is that Samp president Massimo Ferrero has not set any price for the player. So in the face of multiple offers for Andersen, Samp start in a strong position and can sell him off to the highest bidder.”
The 22-year-old Danish youth international centre back has impressed this season in his 12 matches played across all competitions by helping his side in keeping six clean sheets.
