Inter and Juventus are both keen on signing Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa according to a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
Inter are hoping to make the most of manager Luciano Spalletti’s relations with Chiesa’s father Enrico Chiesa while Juventus are hoping to take advantage of their good relations with Fiorentina to swing things in their favour.
Chiesa is a long term target for both the Nerazzurri and Bianconeri who were reportedly very keen on adding them to their respective sides over the summer. Fiorentina’s high asking price however led them both to give up and sign other players instead. The asking price was reportedly in excess of €50 million.
The 21-year-old Italian international is currently under contract with La Viola through to the end of the 2021/22 season. This season, he has made 12 appearances across all competitions for Stefano Pioli’s side scoring two goals and tallying five assists in the process.
