Former Inter and Juventus striker Aldo Serena believes that Juventus will win the title this year but insisted there are several teams fighting for the places below them.
“The gap is too big and I do not think will be filled this year. Juventus are already on their way. Behind them there is a really good fight for the second place. Napoli has not done anything special in the market but De Laurentiis has managed to create a team that has been able to combine the merits of Sarri and Ancelotti together. Meanwhile, Inter has not yet shown the continuity of a great team in terms of mentality but still wish to be at the top,” he said in an interview with TuttoJuve.com.
Serena proceeded to speak on the fight for fourth place.
“There will be a good fight for it and it is fundamental to finish there for many clubs from an economic point of view. It will be an interesting battle and the fans would like to see a close battle somewhere in the league as one for the Scudetto does not exist these days.”
