Inter are looking to reinforce their defensive department in the upcoming transfer windows and Tuttosport have stated that Genoa’s Cristian Romero is a player that they could go in for.

The 20-year-old Argentine centre-back has impressed for Genoa this term, particularly against Juventus and Udinese, despite the fact the Rossoblu have been performing below par as a team.

Signed for just €1.7 million in the summer, Romero is sure to go for a lot more when it comes to the Grifone selling him on.

This season he has made four appearances for the first team and two for the Primavera side, scoring one goal in the process.

Romero is the latest to join the ever-growing list that Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has. Atalanta’s Joachim Andersen and Sampdoria’s Joachim Andersen are two other names within Italy to come in to links with Inter while the likes of Tottenham Hotspur’s Jan Vertonghen and Atletico Madrid’s Diego Godin have also been mentioned.
