Inter face competition from Serie B side Palermo in the race for Romanian starlet Florinel Coman according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 20-year-old attacker was watched by both the Nerazzurri and Rosanero’s scouts in Thursday night’s youth international match between Romania and Belgium as well as several other clubs from across England.

Currently plying his trade for one-time Champions League winners Steaua Bucharest, Coman has a contract at the club through to the end of the 2021/22 season.

This season he has made a total of 18 appearances across all competitions for FCSB scoring seven goals and tallying four assists in that time, primarily as a left winger but he has also played once as a right winger and centre forward.

Coman is regarded as one of the top prospects coming out of Romania at the moment so much so that he has been branded the ‘Romanian Mbappe’ despite being older than PSG and France star Kylian Mbappe.
