Inter defender Miranda has looked ahead to Inter’s upcoming game in the Champions League with Tottenham Hotspur, a game that if Inter win in they can secure their place in the next round of the Champions League.
“We want to win the remaining games in the Champions League, even if we know it will be difficult but we have had big games already. We know that Tottenham is a great team but we are Inter and we want to win. We have a good team and a team like ours must surely reach the next round. Defeats like the one in Bergamo can not happen anymore,” he told Sport Mediaset in the lead up to Brazil’s match with Uruguay.
The veteran Brazilian centre back has saw a slight reduction in playing time this season compared to recent years following Stefan de Vrij’s arrival in the summer but has still made eight appearances across all competitions.
