“For Inter, the ideal solution, which would be quite difficult, would be to sell Gabigol and rid themselves of an investment that just did not pan out the way they had hoped. In the case of a sale in January, the amount necessary to avoid capital losses would be around €17 million, however this is too much money for Brazilian clubs. This is why Inter do not have many options, given that it is unlikely that European clubs will approach them with that figure for a permanent move.”
The most likely scenario is for the player to go to a European club on loan until June. Inter are hoping that he will be able to show his quality in order to attract better offers in the Summer.
