Soon to be Inter executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta could look to take advantage of his good relations with Fiorentina’s management to give Inter the upper-hand over Juventus in the race to sign Federico Chiesa according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter’s chances are further boosted by the fact that Chiesa is aware that his chances of being a starter with the Nerazzurri are far more likely than with Juventus.

Despite this, the Turin based newspaper still report that Juventus are leading the race to sign the Fiorentina winger.

The Bianconeri have a plan in place that would see them invest €50 million in the Italian international with part of that fee being made up by the inclusion of a player.

Fiorentina already have Marko Pjaca on loan from Juventus and La Viola have a €20 million redemption option for the Croatian but he could just be sent to Florence permanently as part of the deal in order for Juventus secure the services of Chiesa. Alternatively, Riccardo Orsolini could be include with it said that Fiorentina are keen on him.
