Luciano Spalletti has shared his thoughts and feelings from Inter’s 2-2 draw away to Roma last night in an interview with DAZN where he firstly explained why he was sent off.

“What happened? I had showed disappointment on the foul that was whistled, he saw me and sent me off, he was right to do so.”

He then went on to discuss how he feels with the result and what he would have done differently.

“There is a feeling of pleasure that was not accomplished to the end. Roma played a very good game and gave us a hard time, it was a game played correctly by both teams.

“What was missing? Well 4-5 things happened inside the penalty area where you can’t make bad choices, which is what happened.”

“I’ve tried many times to make different choices but I’ve been unable to turn back time. Therefore it’s difficult to have these discussions with me because the time I have and the ideas I have are all aimed for the future, I have them when thinking what to do with the rest of my life.”

Spalletti then spoke on the hostile reception he received from the Giallorossi faithful.

“The reception was the least I could expect, but here I have lots of friends and I loved many people, I spent seven years in Rome and I had a great time.”
