Respected journalist Mario Sconcerti has analysed Inter’s growth and change in mentality compared to this time a year ago as part of his weekly column in Milan based newspaper Corriere della Sera.

“Inter has changed a lot and are now in control of their matches and at ease. The improvement over the last year is evident in their mentality. For the first time there is now quality scattered across the field, not just inside a single player. The work must continue and now they should find a champion capable of managing them.”

Sconcerti also discussed Inter’s city rivals Milan.

“It has been a long time since there were the two Milanese clubs in the top four in the standings. Milan is intermittent, they are not yet a team like Inter are, but they are the most insistent among the secondary level of the chasing pack to Juventus. Another point of reflection comes from the good moment Milan are having.”
