Il Sole 24 Ore journalist Marco Bellinazzo has revealed he expects the financial gap between Inter and Juventus to be bridged in the near future.
“Inter is already the club that is closest to Juventus from an economic point of view. The gap can be filled in 2-3 years and Inter can reach a €500 million turnover,” he admitted in an interview on Radio 24 show ‘Tutto Convocati’.
Since assuming a majority stake in the club from Erick Thohir in 2016, the Suning Group have carried out extensive work in changing Inter’s financial situation for the better and to bring it in line with the top clubs in the world and Bellinazzo went on to stress what will happen once the gap has been closed.
“For me in a few years a real economic duopoly will be created. Not this year, not next year, but in three years we can get to two very close economic forces.”
