Djorkaeff: “Inter Are The Only Team Who Can Compete With Juventus”

Inter legend Youri Djorkaeff believes that Inter are capable of beating Juventus in tomorrow night’s Derby D’Italia and that they are the only team capable of actually challenging the Bianconeri who have enjoyed years of domestic dominance.

“Can Inter beat them? I say yes, because even if Juventus has won a lot in the last few years, Inter can fight on par with them from the club structure to the team.While there are Roma, Napoli and Milan too, the only club that can really fight with the Bianconeri is the Nerazzurri,” the former French midfielder said in an interview with Omnisport-Dazn. 

He also spoke on the infamous Derby D’Italia of 1998 that saw a very controversial call made as a clear cut penalty was waved away something nearly everyone can completely agree upon.

“Today maybe in Italy there are still one, two, three people who say that it wasn’t a penalty.”
