Juventus defender Joao Cancelo has spoken on the importance of the 1-0 win achieved against Inter at the Allianz Stadium
“It is a very important victory against a direct rival of ours for the Scudetto. Inter are a great team. It was a great game too and it is an important three points,” the Portuguese remarked in an interview with broadcaster Sky Sport.
He spoke further in the mixed zone and dismissed the idea that after the victory over Inter the league can be considered as won.
“I think it is still too early to consider the league as won, we have to think about each game as it comes with the only thought being winning each of them.”
He concluded by reflecting on his time at Inter last season.
“Inter was an important phase for me, like Juventus is now. I do not want to say which one is the most important. I’m very happy at Juventus but Inter coincides with another important phase of my career and my life.”
