During Sunday’s training session at Appiano Gentile, Radja Nainggolan worked partly with the rest of his Inter teammates according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

The Belgian – as well as Matias Vecino – was on the training pitches doing some running work while the rest of the team were analysing PSV and how they play with manager Luciano Spalletti.

Today’s training session will therefore be decisive to see if the 30-year-old will be able to make the crucial final Champions League group stage game against the Dutch giants.

Nainggolan has been plagued by injury since his summer arrival from Roma. An injury sustained early in pre-season disrupted the early part of the season for him while he would go on to receive an ankle injury in the Milan Derby and then more recently a calf injury. He has been forced to miss Inter’s past two games and is no doubt eager to try and be back to help the team tomorrow night.
